Copenhagen conference and documents on caucus website
Hi all,
Although the Copenhagen conference was not an activity of the HR
caucus, many of its members were involved in its organization and
programme. I've then put a note on the caucus website, with links to
most relevant documents. I still miss Cedric's intervention, and
would be happy to put it in HTML format on the website (as I've done
for Ginger's presentation on e-voting) if you send it to me in text
format, Cedric.
NB. Ginger and Cedric were able to participate remotely, thanks to
Derrick Cogburn's software.
"Members of the HR Caucus have co-organized and participated to an
International follow-up conference to the WSIS process [http://
www.una.dk/wsis], which was held in Copenhagen on February 21-22,
2006. The conference included 4 thematic workshops [http://www.una.dk/
wsis/Konference_2006/Workshop_program.htm], one of them being
dedicated to Human Rights un the Information Society. The programme
[http://www.una.dk/wsis/Konference_2006/WS_3_program.htm] and the
recommendations [http://www.una.dk/wsis/Konference_2006/
Recommendations_WS_3.htm] of this workshop are available. To
introduce workshop discussions, speeches were given by members of the
caucus: Mapping the scene [http://www-polytic.lip6.fr/article.php3?
id_article=135], by Rikke Frank Joergensen and Meryem Marzouki, E-
voting [http://www.iris.sgdg.org/actions/smsi/hr-wsis/cph-evoting-
en.html], by Ginger Paque (also available in Spanish version [http://
www.iris.sgdg.org/actions/smsi/hr-wsis/cph-evoting-es.html]), and E-
privacy by Cédric Laurant."
