campaign for the human rights and the freedom of expression in Tunisia
The world Summit on the society of information (SMSI) will take place in
Tunisia from the 16 to November 18, 2005, whereas, the Tunisian government
continues to lock all spaces of free expression, to deny the hundreds of
imprisoned prisoners of opinions and to contradict all the truths on its
systematic violations of the human rights.
To denounce this policy of escape ahead and to support the national
personalities in hunger strike since October 18, 2005, the independent
Tunisian civil society in exile organizes, in Geneva, a mobilization and
sensitizing campaign for the human rights and the freedom of expression in
Tunisia.
This campaign will be held on three great stages:
1. Exposure on the Human rights and the freedom of expression in Tunisia:
At the house of associations street of Savoises 15 Geneva
From the 15 to November 17, 2005. Every day from 10h to 22h
The purpose of this exposure is to present detailed and credible information
on Tunisia with an aim of better informing the international public opinion
on the state of the attacks to freedoms and the Human rights in the country
host of the final phase of the SMSI.
2. Gathering of the Tunisian civil society in exile
Places Geneva Nations on November 16 2005 from16h to 18h
It will be the occasion for the Tunisian human rights organizations
established abroad to express their protest against the organization of the
Summit in Tunisia whereas the Tunisian regime continues its fierce fight
against all the forms of opposition and free expression.
3. Stand of information in the Mollard place in Geneva 16, November 17 and
18 from11h to19h

campaign with rich and diversified contents which reflect as much as
possible, the reality of the attacks to freedoms in Tunisia.

Campagne de sensibilisation et de mobilisation
pour les droits de l'homme et la
liberté d'expression en Tunisie
Le Sommet mondial sur la société de l'information (SMSI) aura lieu en
Tunisie du 16 au 18 novembre 2005 alors que le régime tunisien continue à
verrouiller tous les espaces d'expression libre, à nier les centaines de
prisonniers d'opinions incarcérés et à démentir toutes les vérités sur ses
violations systématiques des droits de l'homme.
Pour dénoncer cette politique de fuite en avant et pour soutenir les
personnalités nationales en grève de la faim depuis le 18 octobre 2005, la
société civile tunisienne indépendante en exil organise, à Genève, une
campagne de sensibilisation et de mobilisation pour les droits de l'homme et
la liberté d'expression en Tunisie.
Cette campagne se déroulera sur trois grandes étapes :
1- Exposition sur les Droits de l'Homme et la liberté d'expression en
Tunisie :
À la maison des associations rue des Savoises 15 Genève
Du 15 au 17 novembre 2005. Tous les jours de 10h à 22h
Cette exposition a pour but de présenter une information détaillée et
crédible sur la Tunisie dans le but de mieux informer l'opinion publique
internationale sur le bilan des atteintes aux libertés et aux Droits de l'
Homme dans le pays hôte de la phase finale du SMSI.
3- Rassemblement de la société civile tunisienne en exil
Place des Nations Genève le 16 novembre 2005 de 16h à 18h
Il sera l'occasion pour les organisations tunisiennes de défense des droits
de l'homme établis à l'étranger de manifester leur protestation contre la
tenue du Sommet en Tunisie alors que le régime tunisien continue sa lutte
acharnée contre toutes les formes d'opposition et d'expression libre.
4- Stand d'information à la place Mollard à Genève
Les 16, 17 et 18 novembre de 11h à 19h
